Meet Cameron Clarkson: Founder and CEO of Book Blaster
Last updated: 2026-03-08
Cameron Clarkson is a native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and a graduate of both Capitol Hill Magnet School and Cretin-Derham Hall. They went on to study Political Science and Africana Studies at Howard University—where they discovered a deep interest in entrepreneurship and the intersection of technology and storytelling.
Cameron is the founder and CEO of Book Blaster, an AI-powered marketing platform that helps authors and publishers automate their book promotion, from cinematic trailers and landing pages to full Meta ad campaigns and email sequences.
Beyond Book Blaster, Cameron is a published author, recognized digital strategist, and dedicated mentor. They revitalized the Junior Entrepreneurs of Minnesota program and continue to invest in the next generation of founders from underrepresented backgrounds.
Cameron's founding vision: great books deserve to be discovered, and marketing shouldn't be a barrier between authors and their readers. Every feature in Book Blaster exists to close that gap.
They are currently working on their next book, The Way the World Is Moving: The Rise of the Passion Economy, and live just outside Washington, D.C. with their partner and their beloved dog.
